Site Closure
I suppose this comes as a surprise to nobody, but I think ThinkClassic has reached its EOL.
The website isn't difficult to maintain, but it needs considerable time and effort to make it an active place once again. Between a dwindling interest in computing and wanting to focus on other interests, I almost certainly won't be able to make that happen.
I considered leaving it online as-is, but I'm not prepared to leave the forum without security fixes and some form of moderation. I'll need to continue doing that, in addition to following up reports and responding to emails, and it isn't something I'm prepared to do, nor have the time to do it.
As it stands, there have been some expressions of interest from other communities to archive ThinkClassic's content. With permission from current stakeholders in ThinkClassic, I'm open to discuss the possibility of a new owner taking on the site. There's also the potential for the site to be re-formed as a centralised community forum for retro-computing enthusiasts and user groups here in Australia, since I would have some assistance in managing it. All options are currently on the table.
Otherwise, eventually we'll set a switch-off date.
Some services that require increased moderation, like the Buy, Sell & Trade forum, are being switched off in stages. The creation of new Buy, Sell and Trade topics has been disabled, however members can reply to existing topics to complete any outstanding transactions.
To everyone involved in ThinkClassic, from those who helped launch and build the site to our community members that contributed to the discussions - thank you. It's been an incredible five years running this community, and so much fun contributing back to the retro-computing scene from our small corner of it.

Re: Site Closure
Thanks so much for the hard work you folks have put into this community. You saved me in that time of anger and depression so many years ago. I'd love to see the site archived at the very least. Thanks again from the bottom of my heart.

Re: Site Closure
There's a couple of avenues for archiving the content, or perhaps even rolling it into another community to keep it active. That's certainly the number one priority.
The site won't otherwise disappear overnight though, it'll just run in a reduced capacity (no trading area, etc) for now.
