my project, from OS9.0 ITA to 9.2.2 ENG on G3 Wallstreet

Hi pals,

this is my first post, I'm glad there is such a community of dear old Mac lovers.

I recently became addicted with my old Macs: G3 Wallstreet, SE and PowerBook 190. I just bought a Mac II and ordered the famous Floppy emu.
They are all working, except the 190 for which I lost the power supply sad. And except for the floppy sad of course
My currect small project is to upgrade the G3 from OS 9.0 to 9.2.2 but I got stuck. I found a sit upgrade but my OS is in Italian sad, and I do not find the way to bring it to ENG.
I found a 9.2.2 system folder, I tried with Clean-Install from Marc Moini but again I can not find my way out.
Apparently I lost my dexterity with old Macs sad

Can someone give me some guidance on how to proceed?

many thanks indeed
best

The easiest way to upgrade to 9.2.2 English is to install from a US or British English 9.2.1 CD, and then run the English 9.2.2 updater, all of which should be on the Mac Garden.

Hi,

thanks. I found and copied a 9.2.2 system folder, with Startup Disk I switched folder. It works!
All the best
