Classic apple magazines

What apple magazines were there in the 80's early 90's?

Re: Classic apple magazines

I have the original issue of MacWorld in the shipping envelope, virgin condition. Make an offer. Also available for free (Denver area) are first few years (1984 on) of MacWorld magazine. nodttiurp@yahoo.com

Re: Classic apple magazines

MacWorld, MacUser, MacFormat, then in 1996 MacAddict came along.

Here in Australia Apple used to send a quarterly newsletter called AppleNews to registered Mac owners. We got our first issue shortly after purchasing the LC III, and got it all the way up until January 2000 when Apple discontinued it, saying it was no longer necessary due to the Internet.

Re: Classic apple magazines

Mac Home Journal was another and PC Magazine was a fairly even handed dual platform mag. Dvorak's  entertaining column there pre-dated his MacMag debut.

General consumer oriented MacWorld issues have been archived for quite some time. The much better (hardware/more technically oriented) MacUser has been archived fairly recently as well.
