Memory Problems on PowerMac G3 Mac OS 9.2.2

Goodmorning people!
I'm new to the forum. I found at home an old powermac G3 with OS 9.2.2. Yesterday I wanted to try SimEarth and some old 68k application I found.

I don't know why (my system has 448MB of RAM Memory) many applications report an out of memory error starting up sad . SimEarth is one of those.

Someone knows if it's a bug of the os? I haven't found anything on the internet regarding this problem and Mac Os 9.

Thank You in advance and sorry for my bad English

Hi macdrone thank you for your reply, how can I increase the memory allocated to the program in OS9?

Click on the application icon then select "Get Info" from the "File" menu. You should find a box there where you can specify the memory allotment.
