What is an Apple Workstation 2000? I'm also from Germany and I'm generally interested.

I think i was wrong. There is an apple sticker on the device, but i don't think its apple. It seems to be a SUN machine from the middle 80s. A AT maybe a 8086, really old. Greetz Dextar

Interested to see a pic of this - if it's really a x86 Sun, it might be a 386i. Sun made an abortive move to Intel with this machine (and the rumored 486i) running a special version of Solaris. I had one back in the day, and stupidly let it go. It's one I should have held onto.

Re: Spare parts for sale/trade (Germany)

It is definitely no 386 or above. It is older. I even don't know for shure if it is a SUN machine. Only Workstation 2000 is written on it. Tomorrow i will turn the Laptop on and post some pictures, with my tablet it seems to be impossible to do that.

That's the housing and mobo of an Amiga 2000.

Re: Spare parts for sale/trade (Germany)

Get rid of the battery asap. It is already spewing acid which will ruin the components and mobo.

Re: Spare parts for sale/trade (Germany)

Does the Q950 have a blank, or even better, that elusive CD-ROM bezel?

I'm in the US, but shipping for something like that should be minimal.
