Re: Up yours, Microsoft, taking down all the old Office updaters

This seems to work for at least some of the links (the Wayback Machine will iterate a few times about an HTTP 301 error while crawling Microsoft's site, but it did eventually work for me, and I got a valid download link).

Someone should download what they can from there and keep it in a protected archive somewhere.

Re: Up yours, Microsoft, taking down all the old Office updaters

Well I sent an email to the webmaster trying to see if they have copies of everything. If they do I will donate and grab ALL the updates, windows and mac and share them with yall.... We will see what happens.

Re: Up yours, Microsoft, taking down all the old Office updaters

I'm glad that people have found the updaters useful. I'd also really like to see someone put up the Office v.X/2001 updaters too, though I may actually have them on my old G4.

I have the v.X update to 10.1.9 up already, plus the Open XML Converter.

The Internet Archive also has Microsoft's list of downloads, including all the Office 98/2001 downloads. I think most download links work but some may not.
