RadiusRocket hang on launch

Rocket assistance hoped for....

I am dubbing around with the RadiusRocket in my Q700 with a Q650 logic board. I have RocketShare 1.3.1 installed along with 7.1.1P. Update 3 installed as well. It seems when I launch the Rocket for a second time in a session, the machine freezes up with the stopwatch on the shared screen. This is consistent. Only thing I can do is reboot. Seems to work just fine when I launch it for the first time after booting though... RAM check is disabled... non-parity RAM... blablah...

I have a feeling this is a common issue with these Rockets... I've heard they are finicky little guys smile

Can someone point me in a direction to stop this misbehavior? Or should I just except it with the love a dad has for a free-spirited child?

Re: RadiusRocket hang on launch

I could be wrong, but isn't the latest version supported on the Rockets with RocketShare vanilla 7.1? I know that 7.1.1 is for the most part similar, but I'm wondering if you might have any more luck with plain 7.1

Totally off-topic, but what's the game shown in your avatar picture? Lode Runner?

Yep. That would be Brøderbund's Lode Runner for Macintosh.

Re: RadiusRocket hang on launch

I tried the vanilla 7.1 install and the same hangup occurred, but I think I've figured out that the Rocket intensely dislikes multiple partitions. It was hanging at the point where they would start appearing on the Share desktop. So after dismounting the partitions, everything works just fine now. I will now try other ways to make it choke.

and Yes! Lode Runner! smile

FWIW, FloppyEmu works just fine when it's loaned to the RadiusShare.  Not surprising, I suppose.
