Thanks!

I downloaded them, but I suspect the legality of posting them all here is questionable (I don't know). the admins would know best.

Re: Larry Pina

If we get a C&D I'll deal with it then. It's not like we are actually hosting any of that content or anything so I'm not worried about it.

Re: Larry Pina

I have print versions of several books, including L.P.'s Printer Repair and Upgrade Secrets and a few others, that would go nicely with these.

If anyone wants to digitize these, I'd be more than happy to send them out.

These are out of print and as mentioned I downloaded them from other sources beside the one I scanned myself...

I would be willing to cut up your book and run it through the copier if you like...

Cheers,

Re: Larry Pina

yeah CC relax man.   :-)
TC - here were a laid back bunch here.

All cool dudes here.

Send your book to Alaska and we can add it to the repository.

---- and because we are allowed to actually edit our posts here.
Alaska can just add it to the list when he gets it scanned in.

if someone wants to OCR these for him... like what was done with Dead Mac Scrolls then the content will be more easily searchable.

One-take bbraun does not edit posts.  Gets it right on first post.

Re: Larry Pina

Well, they're in good shape, so I'd hate to destroy them. Is it possible to do the scanning nondestructively?

Re: Larry Pina

once you chop the binding, you can take it to kinko's and they will punch the pages and do that plastic spiral and that will make the book even more useful.
easier to page through.  that is how my DMS book is.

Re: Larry Pina

very VERY useful information there. Goes into detail especially on tuning up monitors, which is handy for the people who dont really know how to do it, or what to do.

And it even tells you what the apple monitors cross-over to, to sony parts. Which the schematics are available for.
