2008 MacBook A1181 - Which video adapter do I get?

Hello all!
I have an old 2008 MacBook that I have repaired the case in the past, but it's cracking again and yellowing. It's been retired and is just sitting in a bin. I'm planning on throwing the logic board into an original PS3 case, and make this my emulation system. It will be hooked up to the TV and played with bluetooth game controllers.

So my question is, what video adapter do I need? Mini DVI or Mini displayport? conflicting answers in all of my googling.
I probably have to get VGA I would assume, as an HDMI adapter probably won't carry sound to the TV.

Can you take a picture of the port?  They are visually different.

If it has the skinny U shape it's Mini-DVI, the fat I shape is Mini-DP

Oh wow, just by looking at that picture I can tell it's Mini DVI. That helps a ton. I'll still double check however. Thanks for that!

Sheesh. This gets me annoyed all over again about how Apple mysteriously can't just afford to allocate an extra 10mm of case real estate to just put the standard connectors on their machines like everyone else does.

Heavens to Betsy, euid! Someone might actually plug a standard price, ordinary looking or worse yet, a cut-rate, unsightly cable into a MAC and that just wouldn't do now, would it? Get with the program already! tongue

... { Hears the words "cut-rate, unsightly cable", pulls the Magsafe connector out of a less-than-a-year-old Retina MacBook, and marvels at how the insulation on the OEM power cable has sagged, bunched, and ripped like a counterfeit prophylactic. Sigh. Yep, don't get none of that cut rate stuff from Apple, no-sir-ee... }

Same thing happens to the iPod/iPhone 30-pin USB cables...  Meh...
