SCSI -> SCA freezing up when detected.

I got one of those 73GB IBM SCA server drives from uniserver over a year ago, my chain of adapters screwed up the partitions back then, and haven't really had a chance to play with it again.

Well now I've got it connected in my G3 B&W, with a Formac ProRaid Ultra 40 PCI SCSI card. The card seems to work just fine is OS 9, however when I run the SCSI Manager, it scans the bus, and halts on SCSI ID 4. which, I set the jumper to. It will freeze wherever it's detected. I'm starting to think the drive is toast.

Any idea what would do that or do you think the drive is dead. The card (what I was able to get out of the german manual) only needs OS 7.5.3.
Drive Setup, The patched HD SC setup, "Startup Disk", anything that try to access that disk freeze.

Re: SCSI -> SCA freezing up when detected.

It's also possible that the drive is too big. Some software couldn't cope with incredibly large partitions.
