Modern SCSI SCA, HD solution, For Vintage mac's

Looks like the nifty 2.5" eServer Drives / Savvio,  Are Drying up.

Can anyone like Max or others post:

Good 3.5" SCA HD solutions that we know Work with Max's handy Terminated SCA to 50 pin adaptors?

Maybe post a picture of the Drive that works and some specs.

for example, here are a couple drives Max Mentioned in one of his threads:

9.1gb 7k2 rpm compaq bb009135b4
(or a fujitsu mah3091mc)

- Tested working with vintage mac.

Compaq BD0366459B (36GB 10k RPM)

- also tested working.

I'd also add this one:
Compaq BD01864552 18.4GB

This drive dose not work in 68k's, However it seems to work in the PPC's, it is tested and working on both bus's in my 8600

Re: Modern SCSI SCA, HD solution, For Vintage mac's

hey max can you verify that these drives work with older mac's like the Mac SE /w Mac OS 7.1

— 9.1gb 7k2 rpm compaq bb009135b4
— (or a fujitsu mah3091mc)
— Compaq BD0366459B (36GB 10k RPM)

Its important to know if a drive is PPC Only.
The 73gig 2.5" 10k RPM 8meg Cache, SCSI-SCA HD's I sell work with the Mac SE and the Macintosh Portable / Macintosh II etc...

Re: Modern SCSI SCA, HD solution, For Vintage mac's

The compaq bb009135b4  / mah3091mc 100% works on 68K's on 7.1, it's the drive i use in my LCII and i use it to test all the adapters (on my LCII)

The compaq BD0366459B also 100% works in 68k's I use that one on my IIci running both 7.5 & 7.1

I Always recommend your drives if anyone asks for a good compatible drive smile I'll probably buy one for my Portable once i get that running
